Straight answers about Pilates
Most people who end up doing Pilates did not start out looking for it. They started with a back that hurt at the end of the day, a body that felt unfamiliar after a baby, or an instruction from a doctor that came without much explanation.
These pages are written for that stage — before you have decided anything. They say what the evidence supports and where it is thin, what a session actually involves, and when the honest answer is that you should see someone else first. They are meant to be useful whether or not you ever book with us.
None of this is medical advice. If you have a diagnosed condition or pain that is new or worsening, speak to a doctor or physiotherapist.
